The Diploma in Accountancy (DIA) programme has been designed with the objective of training Bumiputera in the field of accountancy at a sub professional level.

PATHWAY

Opportunities for Further Studies

Diploma in Accountancy (DIA) graduates with good academic result may further their studies at any local or foreign institution of higher learning. Among the courses available are:

  • Bachelor in Accountancy (Hons) (UiTM)
  • Bachelor in Accountancy (local/Foreign Universities)
  • Professional course (MICPA, ACCA and CIMA) 

The DIA qualification has been recognized by Government of Malaysia as a sub-professional qualification.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this programme can hold positions like account executives, account officers, credit-control officers, cost officers as well as financial analysts.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia SPM with at lease five (5) credit including Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris (B),Matematik/Additional Mathematics (C+) and any other two subjects OR other relevent qualification recognised by the Malaysian government.
